Depends.

Thing is, no source is an island. Eg if we get Dugg, then perhaps Blog X will pick it up, and then Blog Y. But perhaps Site will pick it up, then Blog Y, and then Blog Z. Throw in different market niches, and it gets convoluted.

I would say Digg *used* to be the best (1+ year ago) - now its relatively crap. We use AdWords to tremendous success in building links - http://www.techsoapbox.com/the-ibegin-weather-widget-powering-it-up/
