Don’t know if that is a word, but frankly don’t care

I went CRT-free 5.5 years ago, and went dualie 4.5 years ago. Best idea ever - my eyes thank me, and having two screens is great for segmenting work.

I just ran into Ultramon, and I can’t believe I wasn’t using this app.

Beyond the various features it does have, each screen has its own taskbar (this is Windows only). It already feels much better

I’ve been using UltraMon for about 6-7 months now - great little piece of software.

Having recently bought a second monitor, 24” Samsung, and having tried Ultramon, I must admit that it’s better to let nVidia drivers do the work. Ultramon was causing slowdowns. Perhaps it’s specific to my system (the screens aren’t identical, the other is a 19”), but it’s just my 5 cents.

Hrmm interesting - mine is a 21.3″ + 19″ (1600×1200 and 1280×1024) and I haven’t had a problem with slowdowns.

Awesome program. Compliments my 22″ (1680×1050) and 19″ (1280×1024) setup nicely.
